What is a Cyclone Dust Collector?
The cyclone collectors are one of the many industrial dust collectors Ecolo-Tech, Inc. offers our customers. Capable of cleaning air in spaces large and small, the cyclone collector works to remove large to moderate-sized particulate from the air, returning air that is clean and breathable. We install cyclone dust collection systems for customers throughout the Midwest, including Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
Industrial high-velocity cyclone collectors remove particles like chips, metal grindings and sawdust from the air efficiently and economically. When dirty air enters a cyclone collector, centrifugal force moves the particles out of the air stream where they fall into a storage unit. Collected particles can be recovered or disposed of. Air exiting the cyclone can be sent back to the facility or through a separate filter or another dust collector to remove finer dust.
Large cyclone collectors used by themselves are best for collecting large particles like wood dust from woodworking. They can also be used in many industrial applications, like automotive OEM and fabrication shops, a pre-filter before the air is sent through another filtration system, maintaining the efficiency of the second system.
